Although we seldom contemplate it, any given person is a walking/talking "psychology case study" of sorts! As a Psychology major, you will become more knowledgeable of theory and research that provides insight into human behavior and experience.

In the process, you will be well-prepared for a variety of careers, ranging from entry-level positions in many different fields to graduate work in psychology or counseling.

This major is a natural fit for you if you are interested in:

  • helping people
  • understanding people
  • exploring in-depth all the factors that 'make people tick'

Learning Environment

As a student, you'll work within a Christian environment as you explore how Psychology contributes to understanding the human experience of God's creation.

Class sizes are small enough to:

  1. enable small-group work
  2. foster great opportunities to get to know fellow students
  3. give you greater direct access to professors who have a mixture of research and practical experience in their fields

Thus, courses emphasize establishing a link between topics discussed in the classroom and day-to-day life as you experience it.
