Incoming Tornados! Want to get a head start on figuring out what you need to buy, pack and leave at home before hitting up your dorm this August?

Bedroom

  • Television (In order for your TV to be compatible with the cable system, your TV must have a QAM tuner. Most TVs manufactured after 2006 have a QAM tuner. Check your owner’s manual for more information. Basic cable service is provided.)

  • Microwave (The dorms are equipped with microwaves)

  • Weapons (swords, knives, martial arts equipment, guns)
  • Additional furniture (couches, chairs, desks)

  • Candles, fireworks, incense, combustibles
  • Hot plates
  • Illegal drug paraphernalia
  • Animals and/or pets

P.S. If your parents are willing, have them leave you with a gift card. Many needs will emerge long after mom and dad bid you farewell.
