Students move in and prepare for

Classes to start Wednesday, August 22

More than 170 students moved into the residence halls at Concordia over the weekend and nearly 100 more are continuing to fill rooms. More than 160 volunteers turned out to help students move-in on Saturday, the largest move-in day, with University Federal Credit Union, HEB, Acts Church Lakeway and Carino's employees pitching in alongside Concordia faculty, staff, coaches and athletes.

Much-needed rain caused slight delays in the afternoon production, but didn't seem to dampen spirits.

"I'm so grateful for the volunteers who welcomed new students," said Sarah Eberle, director of residential life. "I truly saw the spirit of Concordia shine this weekend."

Classes start Wednesday, August 22.  The Concordia community kicks off the new year Tuesday night with a Welcome Party event.  Other special events run throughout the week. You can view a full schedule here.
