The Service Learning program at CTX holds an annual week of celebration to raise awareness about humanitarian issues in the world and give back to the local community. November 4 kicks off a week of service events with a keynote address by Dr. Wayne Barnard, director of interns and fellows program for the International Justice Mission, a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other violent oppressions. This event is free to the greater community. Presentations will take place at 11 am and 12 pm in the university's chapel in Building A.
Throughout the week, service opportunities exist. See the full schedule at http://www.concordia.edu/page.cfm?page_ID=1329.
