More Than 250 CTX Students and Staff

Dedicated Hours of Service During "Week of Welcome"

Article written by on Aug. 29, 2014

As part of the University’s Week of Welcome, more than 250 freshman students participated in a service project at several local churches on August 25. The students worked on a number of beautification projects including trimming underbrush, tearing down old barbed wire fencing, trash cleanup and spreading mulch at several locations including Austin Baptist Church, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Church at Canyon Creek, Peace Lutheran Church and Travis County Natural Resources.

These service projects support Concordia’s commitment to being servant leaders and good stewards of the community.
