OUR MISSION: University Services provides and effectively maintains the physical plant, electronic infrastructure and campus security so Concordia University Texas can develop Christian Leaders.
Departments in University Services
Information Systems is directly responsible for the technical and electronic infrastructure of the university. This includes the campus networks, telephone system, voicemail, email and servers as well as web/graphic design, web development and administrative computing.
Instructional Technology promotes best teaching and learning practices through the use of technology. This includes the installation and maintenance of multimedia classroom technology, administration of the LMS (learning management system), instructional design and consultation and online course development. Additionally, the Instructional Technology department trains faculty members on the effective integration of technology into the classroom.
Facilities Management provides maintains the campus physical plant, including: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, to landscaping, aesthetic improvements and housekeeping. Additionally, Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining Concordia's 250-acre nature preserve.
The Campus Police Department is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment. Campus Police manages all photo ID's as well as parking permits. The Concordia Police Department is a licensed law enforcement agency in the State of Texas.
