Writing Contest

This contest is open to all 6th - 8th graders of Lutheran schools and congregations of Texas, whether or not they are present at field day.

Please submit all entries in typed form.  The name of the student and other information should be typed on the Writing Contest Entry Form. (All entry forms must be signed by the teacher or they will be disqualified.) Staple the entry form to the writing entry. Please submit entries by MARCH 28th with “EDUCATION DEPT., Attention: Glenda Prewett” clearly indicated on the envelope.  The Education Department needs sufficient time to read and judge all entries. Only one (1) entry per student in each category is allowed, although there are no limits to the number of entries from a church or school.  If you do not have a form, please email fiedday@ctx.edu.

Winning entries will be displayed online on the Field Day website, identified by the appropriate award.  The best three entries in each category for each grade level will be awarded ribbons.

Junior Education Students and CTX Faculty will judge all entries.

A booklet with the winning entries will be produced and available at FIELD DAY!
