Blackboard Introduction

Instructional Technology staff members are available to provide an overview of Blackboard tools along with appropriate instructional uses.

Course Building Workshops

Design workshops are generally offered during the summer and also by request. These workshops help instructors plan and develop courses using Blackboard as an instructional support tool. Workshops introduce instructors to instructional design concepts, Blackboard tools and online instruction. Instructors are required to participate in a 2-hour workshop before developing courses in Blackboard. That means instructors should have access to all files, documents and resources related to the courses they will be teaching. By the end of the workshop, substantial foundational work will be done for at least one course. If you have any questions or would like to reserve a spot, contact a member of the Instructional Technology team. Workshops will be held in the D-132 computer lab.
