Schjerven Scholarship Information

Concordia University Texas and its College of Business are pleased to announce that applications are now being taken for the initial Schjerven Business Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship, funded through a gift by Bob and Anita Schjerven, will provide two $10,000 scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year to students in the College of Business – one for an undergraduate student and another for a graduate student enrolled in the Concordia MBA.

The undergraduate scholarship is available for students enrolled in either the traditional BBA program or one of the nontraditional BA programs housed within the College of Business. To be considered for the undergraduate scholarship, applicants must have attained junior or senior standing.

Applicants for both scholarships must be in good academic and disciplinary standing having a minimum 3.0 GPA and have documented financial need as determined through Concordia’s financial aid guidelines. Applicants will be asked to submit a variety of supporting materials including a resume of related work and activities, a list of references, one letter of reference, and a 3-4 page essay.
