Position # 000184

Do you love meeting new people, getting out of the office and inspiring others to get behind a mission?  Do you have experience developing creative and successful annual giving campaigns? We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual.  The ideal candidate will focus on making personal touches with numerous donors and prospects on a weekly basis while overseeing multiple projects and working in collaboration with team members including communications and alumni. A proactive approach is a must due to projects which require lead time for design for direct mail, e-campaigns, and annual giving collateral.

You would be joining a dynamic team that has exceeded fundraising goals in the last five years.  We work hard and have fun.  Please check out our employee benefits that include a comprehensive health care plan and tuition waiver.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set annual personal goals (personal visits, solicitations, dollars raised, types and amounts of gifts sought)
  • Meet or exceed each fiscal year’s Annual Fund goal through implementation of Annual Fund direct mail, Phonathon, direct response and personal solicitation
  • Analyze program effectiveness; coordinate with Database Analyst to develop reporting processes; and seek to upgrade current donors or re-engage inactive donors.
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently plan, coordinate, and manage targeted direct response campaigns with the goal of acquiring, retaining, and upgrading donors using moves management.
  • Oversee the updating and creation of content of the Annual Fund, Phonathon, and Excellence in Leadership Gala, and Giving Stories webpage for Concordia’s iModules online community.
  • Coordinate logistics for the Excellence in Leadership Gala by creating a sponsorship mailing list, invitation design, attendee lists, and volunteer recruitment.
  • Collaborate with Director of Alumni Relations to coordinate strategies for alumni giving and Parent’s Association.
  • Act as backup for the entry of donor prospects, gifts and amounts.
