Mail Delivery

Standard daily delivery procedures

  • We generally receive mail around 11a daily.
  • Mail is sorted and distributed simultaneously for faculty, staff and students.
  • We generally have mail delivered to boxes by 2p daily.
  • Last drop-off for mail is 1p. Items dropped off after that will be mailed the next business day.
  • Unidentified mail is opened by the Director and distributed to the most appropriate department or individual.
  • Packages, large envelopes, books or bundles of mail are set aside and tagged with a package slip.


Undeliverable mail

Mail that cannot be delivered to the intended recipient will be handled according to postal regulations. First class mail will be returned to the sender as undeliverable and standard mail will be disposed of.



Payroll is distributed through campus mail on the 15th and last day of the month. If one of those days fall on a weekend or university vacation, payroll will be distributed the first business day prior to the weekend or vacation day.

Please do not have cash sent through the mail. Concordia University Texas nor the United States Postal Service will be responsible for cash lost in the postal system.


Change of address

When changing your address: please change your address with banks, credit cards, magazines and anyone who sends mail regularly to you. We will forward mail for 3 months.

Suspicious mail

Suspicious mail will be handled according to the United States Postal Service regulations, which can be found at USPS security guidelines.
