The Campus Computing Project: The largest continuing study of the role of information technology in US higher education. Directed by Kenneth C. Green, the project's annual survey of IT issues affecting American higher education focuses on campus planning, policies and procedures affecting the use of information technology in teaching, learning, and scholarship. Concordia University Texas participates in the annual Campus Computing Project data collection survey.

On the Horizon: The purpose of the Horizon Web site is to inform educators about the challenges that they will face in a changing world and steps that they can take to meet these challenges. The site features two periodicals edited by James L. Morrison, UNC-Chapel Hill: On the Horizon, a strategic planning resource for educational leaders, and The Technology Source, an information resource for teachers and administrators who want to integrate information technology tools in their work.

EDUCAUSE: An international nonprofit association dedicated to transforming higher education through information technologies. In July, 1998, Educause was formed by joining together CAUSE and Educom. EDUCAUSE focuses on the management and use of computational, network, and information resources in support of higher education's missions of scholarship, instruction, service, and administration.

The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL): A professional association of academic librarians and other interested individuals, dedicated to enhancing the ability of academic library and information professionals to serve the information needs of the higher education community and to improve learning, teaching, and research.
