Countdown to Concordia's relocation:
Purchasing the Schlumberger property provided Concordia University the unique opportunity of owning and managing a 250 acre nature preserve. With this opportunity comes great responsibility to be good stewards of God's creation. In the relocation process, Concordia University sought to work with appropriate government and wildlife agencies to pursue careful management and conservation of the nature preserve.
Concordia also sought to utilize the nature preserve as an outdoor classroom for its educational programs and community activities.
More about the preserve will be added as information becomes available through research and exploration.
