Countdown to Concordia's relocation:
Gifts allow Concordia University Texas to facilitate and enhance our mission, "to develop Christian leaders" for vocations in the Church and the secular work place. Concordia is a caring Christian community dedicated to academic excellence and the Lutheran ethos.
First and foremost, your gift is used for the purpose you designate. Many of our gifts are for Student Scholarships and Financial Aid. Concordia University Texas awarded over $4 million to our students during 2006-2007 academic year.
Gifts are used to establish endowment or enlarge existing endowments. The Board of Regents of Concordia sets the investment policy and payout levels for all endowed funds. Endowments exist for student scholarships, specific programs such as church music and building maintenance. Unrestricted gifts are those for which there is no stated purpose and thus the University is able to apply these funds to areas of opportunity and challenge.
Funds may also be designated for a specific purpose, such as building maintenance, or a specific program such as the Director of Christian Education (DCE) or a ministry outreach such as Can-Do.
You may give a gift online by clicking the "Network for Good" icon.
