Computer Science Adjunct – Information Security

Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct (part-time) Instructor in Computer Science to teach CSC 3330, Information Security, during the Spring of 2018.  

This course provides an overview of information security and assurance, including technical, procedural, and policy considerations. In particular, topics include: threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures; authentication and authorization; modern cryptography; protection against malicious code and other attacks; security for networks; secure software issues; privacy; and emerging information security challenges.

 Minimum Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Master’s in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in the field of Information (Cyber) Security including graduate course work and/or significant experience in the field.
  • Terminal PhD preferred
