 The Student Financial Services Administrative Assistant supports Concordia’s mission by organizing the activities of the Student Financial Services staff, including gathering, reviewing, tracking, and monitoring paperwork from financial aid applicants and campus departments. 


 Enter data for the Office of Student Financial Services, including all applications for financial assistance and supporting documents
Manage all files (both paper and electronic), either processing the file or routing them to the appropriate staff for processing
Organize, prioritize, sort, and distribute financial aid records in a timely manner while providing excellent service to students and University staff
Ensure timely communication with students, including printing and mailing award letters and notifying students when documents are missing
Check office generic email account regularly throughout the day.  Process attached forms and/or respond to questions
Distribute paper mail to addressed individuals, organized miscellaneous supply inventory and order supplies as needed
All other duties as assigned


 High school diploma required
1 year experience providing administrative support, specifically with data entry and working with a large volume of confidential records; experience in financial aid office preferred
Working knowledge of the higher education setting and the internal processing flow of student applicants from admissions, registration, financial aid, and billing preferred
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel


 •      Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods

•      Hours may not exceed 19 hours/ week
