Concordia Community Music Academy has an open enrollment policy. All experience levels are welcome, though each instrument may have age limitations (for example, guitar lessons are offered for ages 7+).
No audition is required, though previous experience will be assessed at registration to aid in teacher assignments. Our instructors are in-demand and final enrollment is based upon availability.
Concordia Community Music Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin in administration of its admission policies and Academy related activities and programs.
Returning Student Registration
You are considered a returning student if you were enrolled the previous semester without interruption (not including summer). Returning student registration is open August 1st-14th and priority is given to returning students. Returning students must register at the beginning of each school year, and for any summer sessions desired.
New Student Registration
New students are students who have never been enrolled or allowed their enrollment to lapse. There are two regular registration periods for new students, though new students may enroll throughout the year with CCMA Director approval.
- Fall Registration: August 10th - beginning of the Fall Semester
- Spring Registration: December 1st - beginning of Spring Semester
We follow the same calendar as Concordia University, with 16-week Fall and Spring Semesters and three 4-week Summer Sessions. You can find Concordia’s current Academic Calendar here.
