How much is tuition?
For students starting the program in Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020, the tuition rate is $580 per credit hour.
Is financial aid available?

Yes, student loans are available for those who qualify. Please visit our Financial Aid page to learn about payment options, FAFSA, payment deadlines and how you can get assistance paying for your future. Your admissions counselor will help guide you to the appropriate person or office.

Teachers currently employed by an LCMS K-12 school get a one credit hour discount ($580) off each course they take. Lutheran teachers must meet the requirements of the program and be fully admitted into the program. Please let your Graduate Enrollment Specialist know that you are a Lutheran teacher at the time of completing your FAFSA and Institutional Application. Lutheran teachers may be required to submit additional documentation, such as: ILEG Cert, and tuition reimbursement notification from school, if applicable.

What is a cohort?

A cohort is a group of students who begin and complete the two year M.Ed. program together by following a prescribed course sequence for their specialization. Classes are taught by local administrators and professionals experienced in the field.

When is the application due?

The application deadline for Spring 2020 programs is December 6, 2019. 

How long does it take to complete the M.Ed. program?

If a student takes every course as it is offered, it is possible to complete the program in under two (2) years. This will vary depending on your selected concentration.
