Christmas Bible Reading Plans

Concordia University Texas is a Christ-centered university, and we love celebrating Christmas!
In Luke 2:10–11, an angel of the Lord appears to shepherds out in the fields and announces,
"'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'"
This good news of Jesus Christ is the reason we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate that God sent His only Son into the world to save us from our sins. Advent, which begins on December 1 and ends December 24, is a time for celebrating the good news of the gospel, and it's a time for Christians to anticipate the second return of Christ in glory.
As you prepare for Christmas with decorations, baking, seeing family and more, make sure to prepare your heart to celebrate the true reason for the season - Jesus Christ.
To help you celebrate Christmas, we've searched and found some great Bible studies for you to enjoy throughout December. You can even read the Scripture together with your family!
