Jeffrey Utzinger has been an Assistant Professor of English at CTX for five years. He is a proud undergraduate alumnus of Concordia, and earned his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Texas State University. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in American Literature at Texas A&M. Recent publications include two articles about the work of Henry David Thoreau in Midwest Quarterly and The Concord Saunterer. Two of his poems are forthcoming in The Saranac Review. He also currently holds the Otto W. and Norma L. Schaefer Endowed Chair in Literature.
