Reasons to attend the first soccer game of the year

We've got spirit, yes we do, we've got spirit, shows yours, too!

One week from today, at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, let your Tornado spirit shine by supporting our soccer team during their first game of the year. The game against Huston-Tillotson takes place at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Here's why you should make it your priority to attend!

  1. The first 40 students to show up at the residence halls by the 6 p.m. pickup time will catch a free ride to the game.
  2. The more purple they see in the stands, the better our boys will play!
  3. You might meet some new friends!
  4. Supporting our athletes is supporting our school.
  5. For incoming Tornados, participation in sporting events like this gives an us vs. them sense of attachment, making your declared CTX passion a reality.
  6. You can wear your brand new Tornado apparel. Or have an excuse to shop for some! 😉
  7. The camaraderie. Everyone in the stands is coming together with the same hope: to crush the other team. It really is a unifying experience.

Come watch the Tornados beat the Rams at 7 p.m. next Friday!
