Computer Science Instructor and Course Developer (On-ground) - Operating Systems

Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct computer science Instructor to teach in our on-ground program. 

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a survey course in systems software that is largely concerned with operating systems. Such topics as process management, device management and memory management are covered, as are relevant issues associated with security and protection, networking and distributed operating systems.  

Minimum Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • 18 graduate hours required in computer science
  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Teaching or work experience with some aspect of Operating Systems use/design, especially Unix (Linux)
  • Experience in writing code interfacing with an O/S (preferably UNIX-based) API
