Student Financial Services Coordinator (Part Time)


The Student Financial Services Coordinator supports Concordia University Texas’ vision and mission by processing financial aid applications efficiently and effectively while also organizing technical processes and data management. 


  • Process daily reports from Admissions
  • Process daily reports from Financial Aid
  • Track all incoming documents
  • Queue missing information emails when incomplete documents are received
  • Use Banner BDMS system including scanning, indexing
  • Respond to Financial Aid generic email
  • Open and sort incoming mail
  • Email Satisfactory Academic Progress Warning and Suspense Letters each semester
  • Run loan exit counseling campaign at the end each semester
  • Upload Digital Award Letters to Campus Logic
  • Process Web User Requests Report
  • Send financial aid award emails daily
  • Maintain supply of letterhead/envelopes/colored paper/ thank you notes and other office supplies
  • All other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, manage administrative projects and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to be extremely detailed when typing, proofing, and organizing materials and in the packaging process
  • Ability to articulate and model the Concordia University Texas’ mission, vision and values

  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift/carry up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a computer for 5 to 7 hours a day performing repetitive keyboarding
