The Lead Generation Specialist (LGS) is responsible for assisting the Admissions team in the recruitment and enrollment of students, striving to provide each prospective student the best experience possible. Tasks, projects, and scripts will be assigned by the Student Experience Specialist (SES), Directors, and Assistant Directors of Admissions and will include qualifying prospective students, inputting and updating information in TargetX, and connecting students to Admissions Counselors to nurture the relationship. The LGS will be measured primarily by outbound call volume goals and lead generation and conversion metrics. This position works primarily with our traditional students, but will also assist with our adult, online, and graduate audiences, as well as helping out with any other functions of the Admissions department.


  • Serves as an ambassador for Concordia
  • Calls prospective student leads
  • Completes data entry into the CRM database
  • Builds relationships with prospective students 
  • Communicates information about leads generated to appropriate Admissions Counselor(s)
  • Serves as an event staff person



  • Must be able to commit to work at least 15 hours per week in office during Concordia's business hours and work for a minimum for 3 hours each shift
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Superior communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Able to learn new processes and computer software and databases
  • Able to dress in business/professional attire and operate in a professional work manner and setting
  • Ability to abide by CTX's values, mission, policies and procedures
