- If you bring a Television: To view cable channels your TV must have a QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation)
tuner. Most TVs manufactured since 2006 are QAM TVs. Some low end and less expensive
TVs do not include a QAM tuner. Some TVs include a QAM tuner, but it must be unlocked
by entering an activation code. Consult your TV owners manual or the manufacturers
web site for more information. You should verify the specifications before you purchase
a TV.
