Jazmyn graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has a Master’s of Art in Psychology/Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Her professional experience includes providing individual and group mental health counseling services to people battling with substance use disorders, court appointed clients, and those dealing with an array of other obstacles. Jazmyn believes that change is an unavoidable aspect of life, and it can be steered in either a positive or negative direction. She emphasizes that the therapeutic experience should be a collaboration between counselor and client. Jazmyn has supported clients dealing with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, and life transitions, all while navigating the unique obstacles within an educational setting.
