Nursing Students

Concordia's Nursing program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. Graduates are eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas after passing the NCLEX-RN examination.

To complete the BSN program, you must fulfill certain Pre-Nursing requirements. See below for more information and join us for our next Nursing Info Session to get all of your questions answered.

Traditional BSN Admission

The Traditional BSN track is a four-year program in which students enter as Pre-Nursing majors and, after completing the Pre-Nursing Sequence, apply for entrance into the Nursing program to complete the Professional Nursing Sequence.

BSN Direct Entry Admission

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Direct Entry track guarantees eligible incoming freshmen a spot in the BSN program prior to beginning nursing/clinical coursework, contingent upon meeting all final admission requirements. Students in the BSN Direct Entry track receive additional support.
