8 Concordia Crossing Events CTX Students and Parents Can Enjoy Together

Come and Connect, March 5-7, Concordia Crossing

On March 5-7, Concordia University Texas will host Concordia Crossing, the annual celebration of all things CTX. You and your family are invited to join the festivities! Many events are offered in a HyFlex format, which means that you have the option to attend them in person or virtually.

Here are eight events that CTX students and their parents can enjoy together.

1. The Refuge

When: Thursday, March 4, 9 p.m.

Where: Chapel

Attend The Refuge with your parents. The Refuge is Concordia's student-led worship service.

2. CTX Softball

When: Friday, March 5, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Where: Tornado Softball Field

Cheer on the Concordia Tornados as the women's softball team takes on Le Tourneau University in a doubleheader.

3. Preserve & Campus Tours

When: Friday, March 5, 9 a.m. — 2 p.m.

Saturday, March 6, 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Where: UFCU Student Center (Building B)

Take your family on a tour of Concordia's beautiful campus to show them the places that are important to you. Then join a preserve tour, where you and your family will be immersed in nature, strolling along hewn paths underneath a canopy of trees.

Please note that the preserve tour requires about an hour of walking on unlevel paths at different elevations. If you opt to take a preserve tour, please bring comfortable walking shoes and water if you think you'll need some.

4. Campus Worship

When: Friday, March 5, 10 a.m.

Saturday, March 6, 10 a.m.

Where: Chapel or livestream

The most important way Concordia gathers as a community is to worship God together.

Join us for campus worship, where you will sing praise to God and hear the Word of God.

5. We Are Concordia

When: Saturday, March 6, 11 a.m.

Where: Chapel or livestream

You will learn more about the history of CTX, the vision and mission, and the plans for CTX moving forward.

6. CTX Softball & Tailgate

When: Saturday, March 6, 11:30 a.m.

Where: Tornado Softball Field

Head to Luther Park with your parents for delicious food and great conversation. Then cheer on the Concordia Tornados at Tornado Softball Field as the women's softball team competes against LeTourneau University.7.

7. CTX Game Show

When: Saturday, March 6, 3 p.m.

Where: Chapel or livestream

Display your trivia skills to your family by competing in the CTX Game Show in the Chapel, or sit with them and enjoy the show!

The CTX Game Show pits the trivia talents of CTX current students against CTX alumni. Laughter is guaranteed!

8. Drive-In Movie

When: Saturday, March 6, 7 p.m.

Where: Parking Lot C

A fun way to end the evening of events is with a drive-in movie in the student parking lot.

Bring your family, and transform your car into a comfy theater beneath the stars as you enjoy the classic movie "The Sandlot."
