From the moment Trey stepped onto campus, it was clear he brought more than just talent to the court—he brought heart, humility, and a drive to make every moment count.

Trey is beyond excited to start his athletic and collegiate journey at Concordia University Texas. When it comes to advice for future student-athletes, he keeps it simple: “Always be ready to work—no matter where you are.”

That mindset is rooted in gratitude. Trey reminds himself not to take anything for granted—the ability to walk, to play college basketball, or even to run the sprints Coach assigns. “I want to make sure every day I wake up, I live it to the fullest with no regrets,” he said.

On the court, Trey prides himself on being active and versatile. “Whatever Coach asks, I want to be able to get it done—whether it’s rebounding, passing, playing hard defense, or scoring.” His goal is to be the kind of teammate everyone loves to play with—someone who works hard, encourages others, and makes the whole team better.

Off the court, Trey has found a home in Concordia’s faith-filled and supportive community. “Everyone here wants to help you with anything—professors, coaches, counselors. They’ve built such a welcoming and encouraging campus,” he shared. He’s especially inspired by how open people are about their faith. The strong belief community, he says, has helped him grow closer to Christ and stay grounded in what truly matters.

When Trey first visited Austin, he immediately felt a connection. The kindness of the coaches, teachers, and students made him realize this was the place he could thrive. “I could really see myself thriving here,” he said.

With his strong work ethic, grateful spirit, and love for the game, Trey is ready to make his mark at Concordia—on the court, in the classroom, and through his faith. His attitude and gratitude shine through everything he does, setting the tone for a season built on purpose, perseverance, and joy.
