What Will Move-In Day Look Like?
We've designed move-in day to be simple and organized. Here's how the process works:
Step 1: Arrive and Check In
Your first stop is Lot C, where you'll park and walk to Regents Hall Commons to begin the check-in process.
At check-in, you'll:
- Receive your room assignment and key packet
- Pick up your student ID and parking pass (if needed)
- Get important information about Week of Welcome activities

Step 2: Head to Your Assigned Unloading Area
After check-in, you'll return to your vehicle and follow directions to your assigned unloading area.
Unloading will take place in Parking Lots D and E, which will serve as active unloading zones during designated move-in times. Permanent parking will not be permitted in these lots during move-in.
Residential Life staff, volunteers, and Campus Police will be available to direct traffic and keep the process moving smoothly.
Step 3: Unload and Move Into Your Room
Concordia Texas staff and volunteers will operate carts and move-in gondolas to help transport belongings from vehicles to residence halls.
Because the number of carts and gondolas is limited, they will be operated by staff and volunteers only during active move-in times. Volunteers will assist with unloading vehicles, transporting belongings to residence halls, and returning equipment to unloading areas.
Once your vehicle is unloaded, you'll be directed back to Lot C to park and continue unpacking.

Step 4: Meet Your RA and New Community
When you arrive on your floor, you'll be greeted by your Resident Assistant (RA).
RAs will have welcome tables set up on each floor to greet residents during their designated move-in windows and distribute door decorations.
When you enter your room, you'll also find a handwritten welcome note from your RA and a Week of Welcome postcard with the event schedule.
Complete These Items Before You Arrive
Want the smoothest move-in experience possible? Make sure you've completed these items before arriving on campus:
Complete Your Housing Quiz
Students who have not completed the Housing Quiz before arrival will need to complete it before being permitted to check in.
A designated space with laptops and printed copies of the Residential Life Handbook will be available in the Regents Flex Space for students who still need to complete this requirement.
Review the Residential Life Handbook
The handbook contains important information about community expectations, policies, and campus resources.
Confirm Your Housing Assignment
Students who have not signed up for housing before arriving on campus will be asked to return at 4:00 p.m. to receive a housing assignment.
Prepare Your Student ID and Parking Information
Apply for your Student ID and Parking Permit (if applicable) prior to check-in. Residents without a Student ID will need to apply at Tornado Print and Mail before being allowed to check-in.
If you already applied for a Student ID and Parking Pass, Tornado Print and Mail will be available during check-in to distribute student ID cards and parking passes.
Students who do not already have their student ID or parking pass will be directed to the Print and Mail table before being permitted to complete check-in.
