"The Concordia Education program helped me find a way to connect my desire to teach with my eagerness to lead others to Christ through the Christian Teaching Diploma program, which allows me to pursue both of my passions rather than having to choose only one. I have never felt so supported in my vocation as I do at Concordia thanks to the amazing faculty, including Dr. Hannah Meineke, who challenges and empowers her students."

Dr. Hannah Meineke

The Christian Teaching Diploma program is a growing program at Concordia. The program emphasizes Christian school partnerships and the ability to plug into any Christian educational community with ease. In addition to becoming certified as a teacher in Texas, CTD candidates are immersed in additional coursework and experiences that prepare them for the vocation of a Christian teacher. CTD candidates are also a part of the School of Ministry where they are in community with their church work peers on a regular basis both on campus and in the mission field. I encourage anyone feeling called to teach in a Christian school to also consider the CTD programs at Concordia.
