Take the Next Step Toward Being a Tornado! 

At this event, Admitted students are welcome to come and celebrate all it means to Be A Tornado!  At Be A Tornado Day, students can: complete the financial aid process, apply for housing, make your commitment, and register for summer orientation.

Spend time at the event touring campus, enjoying outdoor games, visiting our food trucks, learning about campus life, and mingling with current students! Open to the whole family! (Kids activities available.)

If you're unable to make Be A Tornado Day, consider attending one of our Admissions Open House!

What Does the Day Look Like?

Admitted Prospective Students and their families are invited to come celebrate, and see what makes becoming a Tornado so special!

  • Begin the day by checking-in with one of our staff members in the Welcome Center.
  • Food trucks will be available throughout the day for our guests free of charge.
  • Vortex, Res Life and Student Activities, and faculty will be on campus throughout the day!
  • Admissions and Financial Aid staff available for questions about all the steps from application to registering for classes.
