MBA Professional Edge Residency Weekend
The Edge Experience brings MBA Professional Edge students together for one intensive weekend per semester on our CTX campus. These immersive residencies complement the online coursework for hybrid students with:
- Hands‑on collaborative workshops
- Real‑world problem‑solving sessions
- Networking opportunities with faculty and peers
- Leadership development activities
Lodging: Students may opt for free on‑campus lodging during residency weekends or receive discounted rates at partner hotels.

In accordance with U.S. visa regulations, international students enrolled in hybrid graduate programs are required to attend all scheduled on-campus residency sessions. This in-person participation is a mandatory component of maintaining visa compliance.

Master of Computer Science Professional Edge Residency Weekend
The Master of Computer Science (MCS) program is a flexible graduate program that prepares students for leadership roles in technology. Students in the hybrid format pair online coursework with intensive weekend residencies.
Location: Residency weekends are held each semester in the computer labs of Martens Hall.

Are residencies required for hybrid students?
Yes. Hybrid students are expected to attend the scheduled on‑campus residencies as part of their coursework. Students seeking an excused absence must submit a petition in advance and may be required to complete approved alternative assignments.
Is lodging provided?
For MBA Professional Edge and MCS, free on‑campus lodging is available during residency weekends, or students may choose discounted partner hotels. Use the Housing & Dietary Request Form in your program section.
