Together We Stand in Faith
The Cruciform stands as one of the most recognizable symbols on the Concordia Texas campus.
More than a landmark, it represents the heart of the university’s mission—a Christ‑centered education that forms both mind and spirit.
Designed during the presidency of Rev. Dr. Ray Martens, the Cruciform reflects Concordia Texas’s enduring commitment to faith, learning, and service. For students who pass it each day, it is a reminder that their education is rooted in something deeper: a calling to serve the world with faith and courage.

Together We Lead

For 100 years, Concordia Texas has been shaped by the people who learn, teach, serve, and lead here.
Throughout the Centennial year, we will highlight stories from the Concordia Texas community—students discovering their calling, alumni making an impact in their fields, and faculty shaping the next generation of leaders.
Together We Cross the Bridge

The bridge across the Concordia Texas nature preserve is one of the campus’s most recognizable landmarks.
Each fall, new students begin their journey with the Bridging Ceremony, crossing together as a symbol of a new chapter of learning, faith, and community.
By graduation, the same bridge becomes a favorite photo spot, a full‑circle moment marking how far they have come.
For many Tornados, it represents transformation, from possibility to purpose.
During the Centennial, the bridge reminds us that we move forward together, connected by our past, our present, and the future God is calling us to build.
