An $8,000 Scholarship for High-Achieving International Students

The Global Distinguished Scholar Award supports academically strong international students pursuing a traditional undergraduate degree at Concordia University Texas.

Eligible students may receive $8,000 per academic year, applied directly toward tuition. No separate scholarship application is required. Students are automatically reviewed when they are admitted.

Scholarship Details

To be considered for the Global Distinguished Scholar Award, students must:

• Apply and be admitted as an international student with an F-1 visa to a traditional undergraduate program
• Meet the required equivalent GPA for the scholarship
• Complete all international admissions requirements
• Submit academic records that demonstrate the equivalent of a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, as determined through Concordia Texas admissions review processes, which may include a NACES-recognized evaluation when required

Important Scholarship Notes

The Global Distinguished Scholar Award:

• Cannot be combined with any other institutional aid
• Is applied to tuition only
• Does not create a refund
• Cannot be transferred to housing, meals, fees, or other charges
• Is subject to institutional funding and policy guidelines

How Students Are Reviewed

1. Apply for admission to Concordia Texas.
2. Submit required international admissions documents. International high school transcripts may be evaluated by Concordia University Texas; however, we may require a NACES-recognized evaluation provider, such as WES, in some cases. All post-secondary transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-recognized evaluation provider.
3. If eligible, receive the Global Distinguished Scholar Award as part of the financial aid offer.
