International undergraduate students may be eligible for the Global Distinguished Scholar Award, which provides $8,000 per year in tuition support. Students with a 3.0 GPA equivalent or higher, as determined through an official transcript evaluation completed by Concordia University Texas or, in some cases, a NACES-recognized evaluation provider such as WES, are automatically considered for the award at the time of admission. No separate application is required. The award is applied directly to tuition and may be renewed for up to four years, provided students maintain full-time enrollment and remain in good academic standing.
This award cannot be combined with other institutional aid and is subject to institutional funding and policy guidelines.

APPLICATION PROCESS
How to Apply as an International Undergraduate Student
Follow these steps to begin your journey at Concordia Texas:
Step 1: Complete the Online Application Submit your application through the Concordia Texas admissions portal.
Step 2: Submit Required Documents Provide transcripts, proof of English proficiency, and financial documentation.
Step 3: Receive Your Admission Decision Qualified students may receive contingent admission, allowing them to move forward in the process while completing additional required documentation.
Step 4: Receive Your Form I-20 and Apply for Your Visa Once your documents are verified, Concordia Texas will issue your Form I-20 so you can begin the F-1 visa process.
Step 5: Pay Your Enrollment Deposit After your visa is issued, submit your enrollment deposit within the required timeframe to confirm your place in the incoming class and prepare for arrival in the United States. Your enrollment deposit is not an additional fee and will be applied toward your total tuition cost. The enrollment deposit is nonrefundable.

VISA AND IMMIGRATION
After admission and verification of your required documents, Concordia Texas will issue your Form I-20, allowing you to begin the F-1 visa process.
This process includes paying the SEVIS fee, scheduling your visa interview, and preparing for your arrival in the United States.
