The Univision Tu Futuro Scholarship supports one incoming student with demonstrated financial need. Renewable for up to four years, the scholarship helps reduce financial barriers so you can focus on your education and prepare for your future.

Full Tuition Support for Your College Journey

The Univision Tu Futuro Scholarship covers full tuition for one eligible incoming student at Concordia University Texas. The award is renewable for up to four consecutive academic years, or eight semesters, provided the recipient continues to meet the scholarship’s renewal requirements.

Who Can Apply?

To be considered, you must:

  • Apply and be admitted to Concordia University Texas before starting the scholarship application.
  • Be an incoming first-time undergraduate student.
  • Be a first-generation college student.
  • Demonstrate financial need through CTX’s financial aid process.
  • Plan to enroll full time at CTX.
  • Complete the Tu Futuro Scholarship application and required short-answer responses by February 15, 2027.

What does first-generation mean?

You are a first-generation college student if your parent or parents did not complete a bachelor’s degree. A parent’s attendance at college, completion of some college courses, or completion of an associate degree does not disqualify you.

How to Apply

Complete your application for admission using promo code UNIVISION. Apply early to allow time for your admission decision and next steps. You must be admitted to Concordia Texas before starting your Tu Futuro Scholarship application.

2. Complete Your Scholarship Application

Once admitted, complete the Tu Futuro application in Scholarship Manager. Confirm your information and first-generation status, then submit three short responses about your goals, the scholarship’s impact, and your contributions. No additional transcript or recommendation letter is required.

3. Submit by February 15, 2027

Submit your completed scholarship application by February 15, 2027. Review your information and responses before submitting. CTX will verify your eligibility and may contact you for additional information. The scholarship recipient will be announced on April 1, 2027.

Selection and Announcement

Concordia University Texas committee will review eligible applications based on educational goals, initiative and growth, the scholarship’s potential impact, and contributions to family, school, work, or community. Reviewers will consider the substance of each response and the specific examples applicants share.

One recipient will be selected and announced on Thursday, April 1, 2027, following verification of eligibility and acceptance of the award. The recipient will be invited to participate in reasonable scholarship recognition activities that do not interfere with academic responsibilities. Promotional use of their name, photographs, or story requires prior written consent.

Renewing Your Scholarship

The Tu Futuro Scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive academic years, or eight semesters, provided the recipient continues to meet the scholarship’s requirements. This ongoing support helps the student pursue their degree and work toward graduation.

To remain eligible for renewal, the recipient must: Remain continuously enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as defined by CTX. Remain in good academic and disciplinary standing. Continue to demonstrate financial need under CTX’s financial aid policies.

  • Do I need to be admitted before applying for the scholarship?

    Yes. First, apply for admission to Concordia Texas using promo code UNIVISION. Once you are admitted, complete the Tu Futuro Scholarship application in Scholarship Manager. Applying for admission does not automatically enter you into scholarship consideration.

  • How is financial need determined?

    CTX determines financial need through its financial aid process. Complete the FAFSA and include Concordia University Texas’s school code, 003557, to help CTX evaluate your eligibility. Contact your admissions counselor if you have questions about the financial aid steps.
